Apply to bootcamp? Congratulations! This means that you will likely speak with an Admissions Counselor to ensure you are the right candidate for the program.
These are some things you should know in advance to ensure you are ready for your interview.
Important: Even though it is rare, if you miss the scheduled interview, your spot at bootcamp will be forfeited. This means that your spot won’t be rescheduled until another interview is scheduled. Do not miss this interview.
Questions We Ask
Our bootcamps are successful because our students are motivated, eager to learn, and want to succeed together. Your teacher will guide you, but students are known for pushing and helping others. They are also willing to push & be pushed in return.
This is why a lot of questions we ask during interviews revolve around whether you are a good fit for the bootcamp or your future classmates.
It is best for everyone to be honest in an interview.
Bootcamp Expenses & Financing
The tuition cost will vary depending on which campus you attend. However, you can expect to pay between $10,000 and $16,000. You can pay in two installments, one at the beginning and one halfway through the bootcamp, or monthly.
If you are unable to pay out-of-pocket, there are two main ways to secure money for tuition. Coding Dojo Scholarships Since 2013, Coding Dojo have given over $3.5 million in scholarships. Coding Dojo Scholarships are offered at all levels. They are designed to reflect the real world and those who want to make an impact in it. Apply to the program and get accepted. Then, work with your Admissions Counselors in order to determine if you are eligible for scholarships. Skills Fund is our favorite financing partner for students. Skills Fund has helped many grads get through their bootcamps without worrying about payments. Skills Fund offers applicants the opportunity to have 100% tuition covered and receive up to $4,500 to cover living expenses. You must be accepted into the program to be eligible for Skills Fund. Then, apply directly to Skills Fund.
Bootcamp Duration and Time Commitment
Our bootcamps last 14 weeks. Unless otherwise instructed by your instructors, classes are Monday through Friday. You must attend all lectures.
It will be a rewarding, but intense experience. It is necessary to spend at least 50 hours per week on lectures and coursework. However, most students who excel are able to spend 70 to 90 hours.
That’s it! Good luck with your interview!

Forum Site Debates “AWS Killing DevOps Professional” In the midst of ongoing debate about the definition of “DevOps”, a question was posted today on Hacker News. It asked: How do you define DevOps? And is it dead? Is DevOps dead as a profession? Although “zabana” did not specify the source of the “AWS Killing DevOps” discussion, it could refer to the HN post “Managed Services Killed DevOps” which was published last year. It references a TechCrunch article that does mention AWS and has 148 comments. The post today could be at that level, as some readers are still having trouble understanding DevOps. It gained popularity in the latter half of 2012 and early 2013. According to Google Trends, this is a post that may reach that level. Hacker News readers are not the only ones trying to understand what this term means. Here are some answers to today’s post. Uncategorized
