VMware Hot News: 3 New Exams for the VCP6.5-DCV Certification

VMware certifications are essential for IT professionals as they are considered leaders in virtualization.
VMware certifications are based upon a specific version of the associated technology. This means that certifications can change as technology changes. New certifications and exams are created as quickly as they are withdrawn.
Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to a new certification: VMware Certified Pro 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization. (VCP6.5–DCV).
This industry-recognized certification proves that candidates know how to manage and implement a vSphere infrastructure. It also demonstrates best practices, which provide a strong foundation for business agility.
This certification allows you to demonstrate your expertise in the most current version of the industry-leading virtualization platform.
This new VCP offers a new path for VCP certified individuals.
New Candidate Requirements
If you are new in VMware Data Center Virtualization technology
Get experience with vSphere6.5 (minimum 6 month recommended).
Participate in the training course.
Pass the vSphere 6 Foundations Exam, or the vSphere 6.5 Frameworks Exam
Pass the VMware Certified Professional6.5 – Data Center Virtualization Exam.
If you have not been VCP certified but have previously received vSphere 5.x training:
Register for the VMware vSphere What’s New [V5.5-V6.5] training course.
Complete the vSphere 6 Foundations Examination or the vSphere 6.5 Foundations Examination.
Pass the VMware Certified Professional6.5 – Data Center Virtualization Exam.

Three exams are required to obtain the VCP6.5 DCV certification.
vSphere 6.5 Foundations (exam # V0-602)
This exam confirms that a candidate has basic knowledge and skills required to understand and start developing VMware vSphere 6.5 environments.
The vSphere 6.5 Foundations exam consists 70 multiple-choice, non-proctored questions. It takes 105 minutes to complete. VMware vSphere: Configure, Install, Manage [V6.5] is the recommended training.
5-DCV elective exam (exam # 2V0-622)
This exam demonstrates that a candidate has the basic skills necessary to successfully manage, scale, and install VMware vSphere 6.5 environments.
The VCP6.5 DCV elective exam is a 70-question practice test. The exam lasts 105 minutes and you can easily answer all 70 questions. VMware vSphere Optimize and Scale [V6.5] provides the best training for this certification exam.
5-DCV delta exam (exam # 2V0-622D)
This exam validates that a candidate is able to successfully manage, scale, and install VMware vSphere 6.5 environments.
The VCP6.5 DCV delta exam is comprised of 70 single- and multiple-choice, proctored questions. Passing score – 300 It takes 105 minutes. It is recommended to take VMware vSphere: What’s new [V5.5 to V6.5].
