It will be the first input to this process, as we must follow a communication management plan. What information should be communicated? We communicate project-related information such as status, progress reports and deliverables. This information is known as work performance information. This information will not be shared once it is created or generated. We will use them to determine the overall situation and share it as reports. Another input is the Work performance report. It is obvious that we need to use agreed-upon templates and procedures when we submit or circulate reports or other documentation. Other inputs include Enterprise Environmental Factors and Organizational Process Assets. These factors can have an impact on the management of communications processes. To put it in one place, Communications Management Plan and Work Performance Reports, Enterprise Environmental Factors and Organizational Process Assets are the inputs to this process.
We have now understood the inputs. Let’s now guess the outputs. Which stage are we in now? Manage Communications. Are you right? If so, what will be the first output? Communications! Isn’t it? Yes, Project Communications is the first output. It is the sole purpose for this process. We are aware that there may be situations in which you need to change or improve the process as we move forward with the project. Every time there is a change to a plan or document, it will be updated. Project Document Updates is another output. If the update is for a subsidiary plan, then? Project Management Plan Updates is another output. All outputs can be identified easily. This process produces outputs such as Project Communications, Project Management Plan updates, Project Document updates, Organizational Process Assets and Project Communication.
It is now time to learn about tools and techniques. Communication Technology, Communication methods, Communication models, Information Management Systems, and Performance Reporting are some of the tools and techniques that are used. We have already covered the first three steps in Plan Communication Management (previous). Information Management Systems (mostly a software tool) is a tool that stores, retrieves and distributes project information. Hard copy documents, electronic documents, Media recordings etc. This category will be created.
Performance reporting is the collection and distribution of information such as status reports, performance measures, Progress data, etc. This information is collected on a regular basis and then distributed. This information is collected on a regular basis and then distributed.
Control Communication
Control communication is the process for monitoring and controlling communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that the needs of project stakeholders are met. This process ensures that all communication participants have the best information flow possible at all times.

Control means to monitor and control. This process will identify what is working well and what is not and then take corrective or preventive steps. Sometimes, these actions can result in a change to the process, assets, or plan. No matter what the reason, change requests are an output of this project. We will also have updates if there are changes. Outputs include updates to Project Management Plan, Project documents, and Organizational Process. Monitoring and controlling tends to focus on how things are going. This is technically called Work Performance information, which is another output.
It is possible that you are unsure why we are focusing on outputs this time. There is no special reason. I am simply trying to show that we can use our common sense to identify inputs, outputs, tools, and techniques in any order.
