Understanding SAP Modules: SAP FI and SAP CO, SAP SD, SAP HCM and SAP SD

Systems Analysis and Program Development (SAP), offers a variety of modules that are specifically tailored to the needs and requirements of their clients. SAP Modules can be used to focus on different processes such as sales and services, sales distribution, financial management and business intelligence. SAP offers ERP (Enterprise Resource and Planning), Solutions and Services. It is a market leader for ERP solutions.
This article will explain the various SAP Modules and how they are used. Before we get into the details of each module offered by SAP, let’s first understand SAP and ERP.
What is ERP?
SAP was the first to introduce Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), digitally. It is a platform that can be used by many organizations from different industries, regardless of their size or strength.
The following functions are typical of an ERP system
Modular business process
Capital planning, expenditure and execution
SAP Modules (ERP Packages).
SAP develops and implements modules according to the requirements of clients. This helps them meet their business goals and function efficiently. SAP Modules are business management software that collects, stores, manages, and interprets data from many functional areas, including:
SAP solutions include many functional modules:
Financial Accounting
Human Resource
Customer Relationship
Sales and Distribution
SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
SAP FI (Financial accounting) module is a module that tracks the flow of funds in an organization and integrates all financial information to make strategic and effective decisions. This module is flexible and works well in any economic situation, no matter how small or large.
This module allows you to combine data for different business transactions and meets legal requirements. SAP FI can be integrated with other SAP modules like SAP SD, SAP MM and SAP PP to achieve better work results.
Activities in SAP FI
Defining organizational structure, such as company codes, business areas, functional areas, credit control, assignment of credit controls.
Maintaining Financial Accounting Global Settings, such as Fiscal Year, Posting Periods.

SAP TR Module
SAP TR, or Treasury Module, is an add-on module that works in conjunction with the HCM module and the FI module. It is used to manage cash flow within the organization.
SAP IM (Investment Management Module) module helps an organization to make and track their investments at one place. It also integrates with SAP RE (Real Estate) modules.
SAP Controlling (CO).
SAP CO (Controlling module) supports and assists in planning, coordinating reporting, monitoring, optimizing, and monitoring the processes within an organization. It controls the flow of business in an organization. SAP CO modules include managing and configuring master information that covers cost, centers, and other areas.

Forum Site Debates “AWS Killing DevOps Professional” In the midst of ongoing debate about the definition of “DevOps”, a question was posted today on Hacker News. It asked: How do you define DevOps? And is it dead? Is DevOps dead as a profession? Although “zabana” did not specify the source of the “AWS Killing DevOps” discussion, it could refer to the HN post “Managed Services Killed DevOps” which was published last year. It references a TechCrunch article that does mention AWS and has 148 comments. The post today could be at that level, as some readers are still having trouble understanding DevOps. It gained popularity in the latter half of 2012 and early 2013. According to Google Trends, this is a post that may reach that level.
