It also includes related apps that can handle functionality such security, operations, and business analysis.
The Splunk cloud service includes a 100 percent uptime service level agreement (SLA). Developers have access to APIs as well as software development kits (SDKs) along with the apps.
Splunk also offers a Splunk App to AWS that can be used with Amazon cloud. The company stated that the app provides a pre-built knowledgebase of dashboards, reports and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into your environment by using data from AWS CloudTrail Config and Billing.
The announcement was made by the San Francisco company at the AWS Summit in London last week. It stated that the Splunk cloud is available through nine AWS regions worldwide and will soon be available through the AWS GovCloud, which is available for U.S. government agencies and contractors.
Terry Wise, AWS executive, stated that Splunk is an innovative and long-term AWS Technology Partner. He also expressed excitement about the company’s potential expansion to new geographic areas. Splunk can serve organizations around the world by ‘going global’ on AWS. This includes those who move mission-critical production workloads into the cloud. As we open more AWS regions around world, Splunk will expand its global footprint.
